Yes, I forgot about that. I think I’d be surprised if the Mets bring him back, though, but they might if he has a good second half for them.

Vogelbach was likely the easiest of the players on the roster for which BC could find a trading partner.



Vogey turned out to be a better signing than I expected, but BC did the right thing in moving him. With a 4 man bench, it is hard to carry someone who can't play in the field. Hoping that the pitcher they got back can help.



Anxious to see who else is traded, and if any of the returns even equal that of the Vogey deal. Unfortunately, I believe we will see VanMeter with the team for the rest of the season, and Tsutugo as well, unless he continues to strike out 3 times a game (which should eventually lead to a DFA).

if Van Meter and Tsutugo make it through the entire season it will make finding a couple of 40 man roster spots easier in the off season.

Hard to say if this is connected in some way, but the Mets have acquired Michael Perez for cash considerations, after his recent DFA.
