Delay improves his team leading BA to .271. Good for him but doesn't say much for the rest of the team when a player comes off the taxi squad and leads them in hitting.

VanMeter PHs for Padlo. Allen PHs for Madris. Chavis in for the ejected Reynolds. Chavis had some OF experience with Boston. But instead of an OF of Marcano-Allen-Chavis with VanMeter at 1B, Shelton gets to play manager:

Chavis-1B

Newman 2B-SS

Castro 3B-2B

VanMeter 3B

Cruz SS-LF

Marcano LF-RF

Totally unnecessary to move everyone. But Shelton likes to play manager.
