From google, I found Snell from 2001-2003 went by Ian Oquendo, adopting his wife's last name. During the World Baseball Classic in 2009, he went by Ian Davila-Snell, adopting his step father's last name. Couldn't find anything about him and Savrn.

First start after heading back to Indy, Snell struck out 17 in 7 innings, including 13 in a row.
