I remember a story where Law was pitching and the other team's pitcher had hit a Pirate. Danny Murtaugh wanted Law to hit a batter on the other team. Law objected and sighted the bible passage about turning the other cheek. A frustrated Murtaugh then threatened to fine Law if he didn't hit a batter. Not wanting to incur a fine, Law then quoted "an eye for an eye."
