I’m following the game on Game Day and some of the ball/strike calls are not good.

So, not having watched a single baseball game let alone a Pirates game in three years, my memory of Pirates first basemen are Josh Bell, Jose Osuna, John Jaso, and Pedro Alvarez. It's nice having a defensively competent first baseman. Santana has had a few nice defensive plays today.

Roansy dancing in and out of trouble so far. He’s done well to keep the game at two apiece.

Donovan’s been a pain in the butt today.
