The bad Keller showed up tonight. 6-0 LA after 3. I guess he didn’t execute his pitches.

Layed in bed the entire game. Amazing how just a few turns can make the game totally different.

First, the Pirates strand IKF at second leading off the game with a double.

Keller walks the ninth in the order batter, Otahni follows with a HR.

Brian Reynolds clanks a ball off his glove for a 2 run HR, that would have been the third out of the inning.

Three runs for them they should have never had. One run for us we should have had.

That's how close this game really was.

Keller was awful, once again seeing Pirates pitchers having a hard time putting guys away with two strikes. IDK what Grandal was calling on the Otahni HR, Keller was owning him top of the zone, and Grandal gets cute.

Speaking of Grandal, he needs to go. He's useless.

And he'll probably get the start tomorrow night behind the plate for Skenes. Which means no Bart more than likely if Cutch feels like playing tomorrow.

Kudos to Domingo German for saving the bullpen. If Reynolds makes the catch, it's 4 scoreless innings.

Sorry Bobster, but Brault and his muppet voice is torture to take for a full game, it's bad enough when him and his fellow muppet McKenry do the pre and post game shows. I wish they would have had Rob King fill in again.

Oh, btw, the Pirates struck out 16 times tonight, and were 2-12 RISP.

Do they lead MLB in striking out?

Theyr're 5th behind the Mariners, Rockies, Red Sox, A's. No one is even close to the Mariners. They have 122 more than the Pirates. But they have the 5th most walks. The Pirates sit 15th in walks.

When you look at hits, walks, runs, power, BA, OPS-it's amazing how similar other than the walks the Mariners and Pirates are. Mariners are #1 pitching staff, Pirates #12
