A major problem with the Pirate broadcasts is the producers. In the 2nd inning, Block talks about the Palacios brothers and good games they both had last year when Joshua was with the Pirates. And the production team has videos ready to go of both brothers' highlights from last year. So this wasn't just random talk by Block. This was planned for when Richie came to bat tonight. But Joshua isn't even with the Pirates this year. This was no reason for this filler material during the inning. But the producers just won't let the game speak for itself and think we need all these other features.

George was one of the best characters in TV history. He made “pathetic” funny.

The Rays line-up looks as anemic as ours, batting averages-wise. This is like a Pirates intrasquad game.

Rays take a 2-0 lead on a Lowe HR in the third. The lead is growing to be insurmountable.
