The gods are loving us so far. Grandal with a two out, two run double. 5-0 Bucs in the 3rd.

Bucs are playing Bravey and the Braves are playing Piratey. 5-0 good guys.

We lead 5-0 at the end of three. Based on the last two days, this isn’t a good position for us to be in.

It looks as though the Braves have us right where they want us.

Falter gives up his first hit of the night but then gets a quick double play. How does he do it? He doesn’t have speed. He throws a lot of pitches over the plate in hittable spots. But yet, he’s as effective as Tom Glavine.

Ozuna with a two out double but, again, Falter pitches out of it. Still 5-0 Bucs midway through four.

Bucs down in order in the 4th. I hope that wasn’t the start of 18 in a row being retired while we watch the lead fade from view.

If the Giants were still in town, they’d be salivating.

Since the Pirates had him throwing the fastball more, he's been more effective. The reason is how long his stride is and the release point. Even though it measures 92-93 on the gun, from how much further he releases the ball, it's equivalent to almost 100 mph.
Funny, we hear about the Pirates failings with Glasnow and Holmes, but don't seem to get any credit for Quintana, Falter, Anderson, Holderman, etc. for turning guys around.
And I'm starting to get convinced the Rays aren't exactly as smart as we think they are. The pitchers they seem to turn around all end up with major arm injuries.

Falter nicely pitches out of his first jam of the night, getting a pop up and a weak ground ball with two on and one out in the 5th. If he keeps pitching like this, what will BC do with him in July?
