Falter gives up a two out single to Bellinger but retires Morel on a fly ball to right. He’s only thrown 67 pitches through seven innings. No score. Onto the 8th.

If Skenes was given the zone the Cubs had today , I would guess he goes 7 with 14-15 Ks.

Holderman coming on to get the final out in the 8th. Great performance by Falter today. If he keeps this up, he’s going to return a nice trade piece in July.

I don't see why Falter had to come out after a weak ground ball to 1B. But Shelton seems to hate starters going deep in games.
