2nd time Taylor bats with 2 on base. He does nothing either time. The guy is just not a hitter. And the Pirates can't afford the luxury of a defense-only outfielder.

This is the 3rd poor start in a row for Perez. And 5 of his last 6 have not been very good. I think it's concerning because last year he started out pitching well for Texas but was moved to the bullpen in August after struggling consistently in July.

Haven't the Pirates had entire games where they haven't connected with 33 pitches (not counting fouls)?

Taylor has to know his day is a bad one when he gets PH for in the top of the 9th in a 10-2 blowout, and the PH is Telleztubby
