Since that blow out in Philly we are having trouble getting key hits in a game. Start of season we had some run scoring success with 2 outs, now not so much.

Falter does a decent job through 5. I'm sure they will take him out. I think he has 70-75 pitches.

All in all our starters have got the job done so far this season.

And another decent start gets wasted. Stratton comes in and it's now 6-1 Mets.

Hey, every team gets swept in a season. We did it to Marlins. This is our first. Sure we'll have others.

We will have to get back on track on Friday vs the Red Sox. The starting pitching has been good, but since the weekend we cannot put together a good offensive inning.

Let's hope they can hit reset tomorrow and return to the winning ways on Friday at Boston.

Falter was pitching well. No reason to pull him. Game fell apart after that. As we saw both yesterday and today, Cherington and Shelton don't care about winning. They've now lost 6 of 8.

Just got in and it looks like I didn’t miss much today. Good to see Cruz get a couple of hits. Davis continues to struggle. Triolo also finding the hits hard to come by. And Bednar had another relapse I see. Sadly, it ended up being a stinker of a series but still, the Pirates could’ve won two of the games. The bullpen had a bad three days.

Well Gents, the bucs get swept by a Mets team that isn't that good.
The Good- 5 decent innings from Falter
Cruz gets 2 hits
The Ugly- Shelton being stupid again. Takes Falter out after 5
Brings in Stratton who gets rocked
Bednar was very ineffective again. Gave up 3 runs
Pirates scored 5 runs the entire 3 game series.
This team just isn't hitting
Possum mentioned that he hoped the Bucs would do
better in Boston. Hope he isn't planning on going to
the game. It's at PNC
