Great start by the Bucs up 3-0 early on a night so far where everything has gone their way in the standings. The Cards and Mets have already lost, and the Marlins are losing in the bottom of the 9th to the White Sox and still have to face Chris Sale this weekend. And while we are at it the Rockies are losing big too. So shaping up to be an excellent night for the Bucs in the standings if they can win this game tonight. Need to get this win.

Boy, they are hitting Nova hard so far...3 runs probably woln't be enough to win it...

Without a circus catch from Cutch, he might have given all 3 back already...

Still hitting Nova hard...I can't imagine having to watch this guy pitch in a sandbox like NY.

One thing good about Nova is the guy throws a ton of strikes and does not walk anybody. He has yet to walk a batter in 11 innings pitched so far. That alone has made him a huge upgrade over Liriano who was just walking people at a ridiculous rate.

Cutch lines out to deep right...even the first out for him tonight was encouraging

On another note, Hurdle needs to have Nova on a short leash...his 5 innings with one run is deceiving, 8 hits and a lot of hard outs already...
