6 hits, 4 of which are doubles through 4 and 4 runs.

Ouch.

Ouch.
Imagine how bad it would be if our ace wasn't pitching!

Ok, let's look at our ace's last 4 games:

IP H ER

4.2 10 5

5.0 10 4

5.0 8 7

4.2 11 7

ERA over past 4 games: 10.71

Cutch, Watson, Cole. The regression club just keeps getting bigger.

Cole is a complete disaster now. Not impressive, not competent.

I am wondering if Cole has some kind of injury. I always felt he was pitching with the hope that down the road he would get a huge payday. These past four starts are not the normal Cole. I fear we are going to hear that he has some type of arm injury.

I'm gonna give this a try - Cole is not a very good pitcher!  ;)

Now it's 4-0 on back to back doubles. C'mon VA, you're not even trying!

I've been busy signing on with Scott Boras. No time to concern myself with the Pirates, this is all about ME!

Honest question.

If true, how many good pitchers has Huntington developed in 9 years and 7 months?

Ah, a rhetorical question!

We can hope for Tallion. 8-)

At least Cole's 4th consecutive awful game should quiet the discussions about how much the Bucs could get by trading him. Any potential trade partner has to wonder if (A) Cole is hurt or (B) has he somehow lost the ability to pitch even reasonably effectively?
