Not quite. 4 walks, 2 runs. He stands to be the losing pitcher. He was atrocious.

You gotta hope Glasnow can somehow at some point figure it out. You can't give up on him yet but at some point next year if this continues where he just struggles and looks like there is no end in sight you gotta believe the Pirates are going to start running out of patience with Glasnow.

The Brewers making the playoffs is probably the worst thing that can happen to the Pirates since they have the lowest payroll in baseball. Because you know this con of a front office will use that to their advantage by saying "See you don't need to spend a ton of money to win look at the Brewers this season." I can see Huntington saying that right now.

Glasnow walked 4 of the 6 batters he faced, but a lot if his pitches missed by inches. He is afraid to throw strikes. 8 strikes if 25 pitches.

I think Glasnow may not have any options remaining,so he must make the team out of spring training next season. If this is correct how can the Pirates keep him on the 25 man roster when they break camp in 2018 if his struggles continue this year and during spring training.

I don't get it. Why doesn't he trust his stuff? He had some nasty pitches on the few swing and misses. But 8 out of 25 is awful.

Jeff Locke had a better chance of ending up an ace. It's time for is to let go of this fantasy.
