There's a run that had nothing to do with Glasnow.   Strikeout that Cervelli can't block(no surprise there).  Bell misplayed a double play ball.   Baez steals 3rd. JHay throws home errantly and Cervelli can't make the pick.

Glasnow not getting much help in the field. Struck a guy out and reached base. Tough play by Cervelli, but a strike out wild pitch is still not that common. One hopper to Harrison who is in and he can't make the throw. Not ruled an error either??



Now 6-4 Cubs after a double by Bryant.

Anybody notice the socks that Brault and Glasnow wore. They had the gold Roberto Clemente Bridge on them. Pretty cool

That hit there by Zobrist should probably do it. Looking like another loss where the Pirates had an early 3 or 4 run lead. Oh well hopefully find a way to win the series tomorrow with Williams on the mound. Be nice to get 2 of 3 from the Cubs before heading to Miami to play a bad Marlins team.

It's like they don't like Glasnow or want him to succeed. Four players messed up, three considered good defensive players. He leaves giving up four runs and all considered earned. Score keepers are awful too.

You can blame the fielders all you want, but this bullpen isn't good. Absent the closer, there are serious question marks all the way around. There are three guys in the pen that shouldn't be here, maybe four. This is why Musgrove needs to start in the pen, when/if he ever returns.

I think Smoker should be sent to Indy. He has not been very good each time he has pitched.
