Nice guy Hurdle helps with the no-hit bid by keeping Dickerson in the dugout so .168 hitting Rodriguez can face the RH Wacha.

So there had only been 2 hits in the game since the 1st inning. Of course Feliz quickly took care of that.

There are about a dozen turds in today's punch bowl, so I will pick out this one. Matt Carpenter grounds a ball to Bell about 20 feet behind the 1st base. Carpenter is about 45 feet from the bag. Rather than run and tag first, Bell makes Brault run about 35 feet to 1B and he tosses it to him. WHY?

It all worked out great Hurdle got to rest his guys today two days in a row and that’s baseball sometimes you get no hit. No big deal just another loss in Clint’s eyes that’s life just come back and get them tomorrow.

I wondered the same thing. On another notes, Feliz now has a 6.08 ERA.

Yay! The Pirates avoided having additional humiliation heaped upon them. (The bar is set pretty low now.)

All that rest Clint gave Moran today paid off Bobster he broke up the no hitter. See it does work after all lol.
