We have now lost more than we have won and are mired in 4th place. Only the lowly Reds stand between us and last place and don't look now but we are only 9 games ahead of the Reds for last place. But at least BOB will still get his and Doofus Huntington will still have a job.

While we're at it the Brewers who are going to run away with it has a 2018 payroll of $99 million, so it'd not all about spending the most money. Management of Pirates is just awful.

I agree to a point about the money. 99M is still a lot more than 86M. The combination of a cheap owner and a GM and Manager that seem clueless equals disaster. Osuna needs to be up on the big club. One of Freese or SRod need to go to make room. Polanco needs to collect splinters.
