If any which outfielder would you trade?

One assumption: the Pirates payroll situation is such that money will not drive the decision.



With that assumption, I trade Meadows. Probably he has 2nd highest highest trade value of any position player and we need a couple high level prospects. The past week of play showed the potential of this OF. I’d keep it together for 3 more years.

Not Bucs/NH style to trade those guys with reasonable contracts and years of control.
Marte will get 10.3 million in 2019, 11.5 (with 2 mil buyout) in 2020 and 12.5 (with 1 mil buyout) in 2021. NH likes to trade players before their salaries get too high.


True, but he's the only true CF and the only right-handed batter. Marte is the last guy I want to see traded, and probably our only legit allstar-type player. (I know you don't want to trade him.)

You're falling into the trap that Polanco is "fixed". I've seen enough between the hamstrings and long cold spells, I would trade him this offseason.
