Luplow can definitely run a little bit. The more I see this guy, the more tools become apparent.

This lineup right now for the Pirates is just not very good with guys like Luplow leading off and Hurdle continuing to find a way to shove Rodriguez down our throats every other game. They really need to get both Dickerson and Bell back in the lineup very soon. This lineup now with these guys is just not good enough. How many games does Hurdle have to keep starting Rodriguez until it finally clicks in his big head that he stinks.

Those three games he had after coming back from the DL were so much fool's gold.

Hurdle doesn't care. He just likes S-Rod. Hurdle didn't care about the 6th win in the 11 game streak. That's why he rested the BP the day before the 4-day AS break and used Tanner Anderson. Bucs got lucky to score 1 more run in the 10th than Anderson predictably gave up. Hurdle didn't care this Sunday when 2 starters were out with injuries and he decided to rest his starting SS-2B combo the day before a day off and they lost 1-0 instead of trying to take 3 of 4 at home vs the lowly Mets. He didn't care when he let Bell bat 4th for 60 games when Bell could barely get a single. He didn't care when he let Polanco bat 2nd for 40 games when he he couldn't hit until his swing was retooled. I used to think the utterly clueless Lloyd McClendon was the worst mgr I ever saw. But Hurdle is worse. He's not clueless. He simply doesn't care.

I saw McRae pitch in Bradenton 2 years ago. Nice to see him in MLB. But his AAA stats suggest it's a short stay until Kela joins them.

bad performance tonight. Really wanted to win this and it was close to a must win to get in range of first place.

S-Rod should never start again (and should be released tomorrow). He can't play defense anymore and can't hit. His salary is a sunk cost.

Not sure any team can over come the incompetence of Hurdle, Rodriquez batting .167, Luplow .189, Osuna .185, wow how can anyone expect to win with this lineup.

NH deserves credit for the trades. But until Hurdle is replaced by a manager who's interested in actually winning, what's the point?

Enough is enough with Rodriguez already. Quit starting him and putting him in the lineup every other game. He can’t hit anymore period. Those first few games back in the Reds series were a fluke and didn’t mean anything really in the long run. The guy still sucks dad should not be playing al all period.
