A Cervelli for Wood trade would at least be a "baseball trade". I could live with it.

I would be more than ok with that trade. I would be interesting to see what it would take to get both Wood and Puig as it's rumored the Reds are trying to do.

Isn't Puig a younger version of Marte? Great arm, nice speed but lack of consistent hustle.

Yes he has his issues for sure. He is extremely talented and hits for power though.

And doesn't buy into this whole cut-off man concept.

Taking Puig out of the LA spotlight that he clearly loves and bringing him to Pittsburgh (or Cincinnati) would really worry me.

You think he has an attitude problem now?

I like Alex Wood...he would be a great #3 for us. Williams 4 and Musgrove 5.

I too like Wood. Cervelli for Wood would be a real baseball trade.

Hometown Braves felt Wood's delivery too much prone to arm injury, so they sent him packing to the Dodgers a few years. Kid seems to be a decent lefty starter. Dodgers are overloaded on talent and starters. Would love to see Bucs get Wood. While I'm a big fan of Francisco, if it would give him a chance to play for a winner and get the Buccos a legitimate lefty starter, I would go for it. Just my two cents...
