Tom Prince showed some great form trying to block Puig.

Yea I mean Dietrich did stand there and admire the homer a little too long but if you don’t want him doing that and Archer and Cervelli don’t like it don’t give up a homerun. Puig is a nutcase at the same time should have been tossed.

Kela and Vasquez were tossed. Will make for a short pen in a game where the balls are flying.

Dietrich was way over the top. No need to stand there 5 seconds. He and Archer were involved in an age-old baseball dispute. Archer didn’t even hit Dietrich. The guy who was over the top was Savid Bell.

This is a GREAT response to the fight:

Josh destroys the ball. Melky running harder then he probably has in 10 years stretches a single into a double. Jason Martin hits a sharp single to score Melky.

Good guys up 4-3.

Archer made it thru 5 on 86 pitches. Need him to go 6 with Kela and Vazquez ejected.

Melky has been really good so far these first 8 games. He has filled in very nicely for both Polanco and Dickerson. Having a guy like him on the bench is gonna good moving forward.
