Good for Newman. That sounds like the actions of someone who doesn't stand around and watch others do work. Or, to say it another way, a person who doesn't feel as if certain jobs are beneath him/her or someone else's responsibility. It sucks he got hurt, but if that was why he was doing that, good for him. We need more humans like that.
good post, I think it does show a lot for his character. I can't remember his name but I remember that a hockey player for the Caps got all kinds of kudos because he stopped to change someone's tire after a game a few years ago. He was more than a little embarrassed that it was considered news.
