I think I heard he gave up 5 homers last year, and already 3 this season.

Moran with a PH 3 run HR.

Hurdle pulled the right strings tonight having Moran hit for Kang

Pablo saved the game with one great catch, if he hadn't made that catch it would have been lights out.

All things considered after 12 games for this team to be 7-5 given all the injuries they have had so far with key guys such as Dickerson and Polanco you gotta feel pretty good about this team 2 weeks into the season. The starting pitching has been phenomenal.

Freddy I agree. All things considered ... 7-5 feels stunning.

Yah. Despite all our complaining . . . we're ok.

I don't know if anyone else noticed, but I sure did, Stalling was not letting the ball get by him period. I was very impressed and I bet the pitchers would like to see more of him catching them. I've been shocked at the number of defensive snaffo's by Cervelli these first few games. He seems much better defensively than Diaz too, now if he can hit some he may be a keeper for sure.

I can't believe this team is 7-5 considering the lineup CH has been sending out there. So many AAAA players out there each day. If it was not for the stellar SP so far they would be in the division and maybe the MLB basement. I will feel more confident in the team when Polanco, Dickerson, and Chisenhall come back.

The pitching has been a masterpiece but the defense (and sometimes the hitting) has been like splattering ketchup on a Van Gogh. I'm still annoyed that we couldn't get runs for Musgrove the other night.

But yeah, if they could hang on at .500 or so through April, the lineup on May 1 could be:

Frazier

Marte

Polanco

Bell

Kang/Moran

Dickerson

Cervelli/Diaz

Gonzales (with Tucker maybe on the way later)
