Trevor gives up 2 runs though 6 and it feels like 2 too many. Buccos need to put some hits together. Starting now.

This team has such a small room for error. Right now, the starting pitching is a given. But if the bullpen struggles, there are defensive miscues or the offense can't push across more than three runs, they struggle.

Pirate should try and sign T. Williams to a long term contract. The guy is a pitcher and competitor who could be good for a very long time. He's the guy I would want on the mound in a must win situation. It looks like a Arizona sweep and LA disaster. The offense on this team is non extant and the coaching staff has no clue how to help the offense. Most likely all down hill from now on this season.

The Pirates need to win these last two games with the DBacks and at least split this 4 game series and finish this homestand with a winning record at 4-3 and 14-9 overall. You don’t wanna have a 12-6 record and then boom just give it all back all of a sudden by losing 4 or 5 in a row. Plus, you got 16 of your next 21 games after these 2 games with Arizona on the road so the Pirates have to stop the bleeding here these next few days and win these two games against the DBacks before heading on the road because you simply don’t want this good start to unravel which it seems is happening the last 3 days or so.
