Meanwhile Jordan Lyles is now 4-1 since joining the Brewers as he beat the Cards yesterday and Casey Sadler comes in for the Dodgers and bails out Jansen who blows a save. I’ve been saying it and will keep saying it both Clint and Neal need to go. Both have not done their jobs well the last few seasons and should not be rewarded for it. Time for a change and a new direction.

Don't know what to make of Lyles. He never had much success in a lengthy MLB career but was lights out in 6 of his first 8 Pirate starts before hitting a wall and again becoming the problematic pitcher he had always been. His ERA in mid May was 1.97. When traded in late July it was 5.37. He has started strong now for the Brewers with an ERA of 2.67 in his first 5 starts. But how long will that last?
