On Friday I would have never picked Pitt to have more wins than the Pirates.

I think we're going to be looking back at September 12th as the last win of the season. The Cubs are likely to swat the Pirates away with little effort. The Reds have won 6 of 10 while the Bucs have lost 9 of 9. There is bad blood between the teams and the Reds might be fired up to sweep the Bucs in the season's final series while the Pirates are meekly going thru the motions with their tail between their legs. Ending the season on a 15-game losing streak would be appropriate.

I think it's time for the Bucs to win a few. It's time to close out the Cubs. Surely the Pirates can win one or two. The Reds, though, are another matter.

I need a 1-5 week for the 66-96 record I predicted.

Kimbrel has really struggled with the Cubs. If only we had a closer we could offer them.

Ironically, the Pirates have scored 727 runs with 6 games left and only 2 people predicted more runs (728 and 730) which will probably be surpassed. And only a few predicted a losing record and the prediction of the worst record will win. Shows how unexpected this joke of a pitching staff has been (plus injuries).
