Agree. Brubaker had some nice looking pitches, and perhaps just as importantly, looks like he has the confidence to throw them.

I like that Shelton let Brubaker go a 2nd inning. Hurdle was pretty strict about 1 inning per reliever regardless of how well he did. And what a day for Evans!

I hope they eventually give Brubaker a shot to pitch in this rotation. I think he would be a much better option then Derek Holland in the long run. I could live with a starting 5 consistently of Musgrove Williams Keller Brubaker and Brault if it came down to it.

Feliz pitches perfect 8th inning. Will he come out for the 9th or does Shelt go with Crick or Neverwhatshis name? If there ever was a time for an Old Granddad on the rocks it's now.

Looks like it will be Nick Burdi in the 9th. Not a save situation though.
