We're Pirates fans. Most seasons end before they begin. But, we watch. We post about them. It's the way it is.

It's the beauty of baseball. Always something to whine about. Beats whining about the wife, the job, the kids, or most of all- politics. :)

Yeah, imagine being a fan of a good team and being reduced to whining about all that other stuff. Ha! Sux to be them! :)

According to Adam Berry the Pirates and Reds will not make up the two weekend games on Monday. Pittsburgh does have another visit to Cincinnati in September.

The Reds play the Pirates Labor Day Weekend in Pittsburgh. Neither team has a game on Labor Day, possibly a game will be scheduled that day with the Reds being the home team at PNC.

I'm willing to bet that, if we could go back in time and talk with Abner Doubleday, he would tell us that the whole reason he bothered to invent this game we love was to get out of the house so that he wouldn't keep getting hit over the head with a frying pan. ;) And, it beats working for a living.

Well, look at it this way.

If we had the money.....we'd still be left with The Incompetence! @@@@@

We might be better off the way things are.
