Can anyone catch me up on why last night was Clemente night? Is there significance to the date?

The front office couldn’t come up with any bobble heads that anyone wanted.



They should have had a Mario Mendoza night instead. That would have been more appropriate for this team.

They should have had a Mario Mendoza night instead. That would have been more appropriate for this team.
Mendoza was a career .215 hitter. If he could just work with Bell, Reynolds, Polanco, Riddle and Murphy to help raise their BAs to that height, it would be a huge help.

Impossible. Mendoza would be salary dumped to another team.

Why not just get better players than Bell, Reynolds, Polanco, Riddle, and Murphy?
Of the five you mentioned, I would bet on Reynolds
