I do not think we know who the Pirates prefer. Last year's draft did not really show that they prefer size in pitchers.

Another DH for Vanderbilt today. Rocker did well in game one, and Leiter is doing well in the second game. If they both continue to pitch like they have in their first two starts, it will be a toss up as to which player the Pirates select with their #1 pick. The slogan last year was to lose to get Rocker, but Leiter with his pitching repertoire, seems like a good choice.

I have been reading that the #1 prospect is HS SS Jordan Lawler and that Leiter and Rocker are fighting it out for #2.

I know you select the best player available, but since good pitching is hard to acquire I would select one of top pitchers. Yes, a pitcher could easily become injured, case in point Taillon vs Manny M., but it seems Rocker and Leiter are both very special pitchers.

Is that from the ESPN+ assessment? The teased someone not Leiter or Rocker but I don't subscribe.

Both pitchers went 5 scoreless yesterday.
