Got a little nervous after that leadoff double. Ump helped us out against Yelich. Need all the help we can get

I just caught the 8th and 9th innings and was impressed with Oliva in the 9th. With Adames on 2nd and nobody out he caught a flyball and forced Adames to remain on 2nd, then Yellich also flys to Oliva and again, Adames remained on 2nd. The final out was caught by Gamel in LF. One thing I can say about Oliva is that can't hit but he sure seems to the arm to hold runners, unlike Pooplanco who can't hit and has a candy arm.

Pretty soon it will be Bednar getting these rare opportunities . Although Sheldon probably is dumb enough to use a guy that throws low 90's with no control ?

Don’t know if they still plan on trading Tyler Anderson but if they aren’t I wouldn’t mind bringing him back next year just to add some stability to this rotation. Because aside from maybe guys like Brubaker who has been okay and shown some promise and Brault when he returns who can the Pirates really count on next season to be a fixture in this rotation that can be as efficient as Anderson can be at times when he pitches well. Just something to think about as we move into the 2nd half of this season.

Chances are, some of his better teammates won't be on the team. We're not having the best of seasons, and the outlook for next year might not be rosy, either.

I'd be down for something reasonable, but I wonder if he'd want to go through this again, regardless of what we'd offer.

This will be interesting to see how it plays out.

It will take more than someone like Anderson to help this team. Frazier most likely will be gone and is nobody on the farm that is ready to take over for him. Guys like Anderson are not that hard to find. But you never know what BC might be thinking and how much BOB will be willing to spend. The money is important here.

Looks like Anderson's trade stock just went up. I see a very faint smile on doc's face since the bucs didn't get swept. For those of you who have previously been to Wildwood. Be glad you are not here this 4th. Wall to wall people.

Don't be a baby. I was on the beach with all those people listening to a BUC victory.
