Wildwood Dave has his big 90th  ;) (or at least he looks 90) BD tomorrow and a sweep of our enemies would be a great BD gift.

I can't help but think this might be Mitch Keller's last or second to last shot to have a place in the rotation/bullpen. When Brault is ready, you know he's coming up, and someone has to go.

The Pirates have hinted at a 6 man rotation the rest of the way. Hmmmm, let's see, who do they have right now as starting pitchers:

Brubaker

Crowe

Kranick

M. Keller

Kuhl

Wilson

I count six. One of them will have to go, or push someone else out of a reliever spot.

Kranick and Keller have gigundous bullseyes to be AAA bound (they both should be, but, you know the filling out a roster thing)

So I had to laugh about the pre-game show talking about Keller going back to the windup instead of always pitching out of the stretch. Talking about his timing, velocity, control, etc.

I laughed because I said he's still going to be pitching out of the stretch most of the time anyhow.

I'm being forced to listen to Blech and McKenry on the radio today. It's a lot like having tinnitus, only with more nausea.

Keller started the day with a 7.04 ERA.

I guess if he lowers it a tick, that's improvement

Is "super secret scouting report" going to become another catch phrase for Brown?
