I am more concerned about the roster space that Quintana will take up if he does not pan out and they finally decide to release him. To me it is not about the money but more about a roster space like we had with Pooplanco last season.

I wonder if the Pirates are trying to set up a trade to make room on the 40 man roster. It's been a couple days since this broke, no moves announced. All quiet on the twitter front too.
Would have thought the physical would have been done and the deal signed by now.
