That's a lot more exciting than watching a guy hit a HR and jog around the bases.
I'd rather be bored by watching guys hit homers, then jog around the bases than being excited watching guys not score any runs.

What`s the deal with pitcher Brennan Malone ? He has pitched under 20 inn. in 3 years.
I read that Priester throws a very flat and hittable fastball and that worries the Pirates .Plus he is always hurt.
Getting the feeling Mason Martin will not be the answer at 1b. The power is there but that`s all

There was no minor league baseball in 2020. In 2021 he missed most of the season with a lat injury. He had some type of illness this spring and wasn't ready to begin the season until this week.

Cruz playing shortstop for Indy Indians tonight. Something interesting is that Bligh Madris is playing at first base. With the number of young outfielders in the Pirates system, they may think that Madris has an opportunity to play first base for the Pirates in the future.

I don't follow the minors that much, just look in here and there at stats of the guys in the affiliations. Someone talked about burrows before. He's the Pirates #7 prospect, and at Altoona was ranking in the AA leaders for starts, K's, ERA, WHIP, and average against.
