Difo is a good player. I was surprised when they DFA'd him and also surprised no other team picked him up.

They mentioned the last time the Pirates came back down 5 or more was against Detroit in 2019 coming back 6 down, I remember that game so much because I was there and one of the few games Mister Man actually paid attention to and got into.

I honestly think it was because of his contract. He's pricey for an end of the bench player for a better club. Despite what some people think, the Pirates aren't the only cost conscious club in MLB. I don't think he'd clear them now, but it would effect a trade. I'd rather they keep him and say good bye to the likes of Tom/Oliva/Polanco and I'd keep him over Evans any day of the week.
