After the way spring training went I feared we'd get nowhere near the No. 1 pick in the draft next year.

After watching all of last night's drubbing, it looks like I can skip watching the recording of today's game when I get home tonight around 10 and just chalk it up to a continuation of yesterday's lousing pitching, poor defense and little hitting.

I also apologize to everyone for my momentary fling with enthusiasm after the opening day win. This season is sadly reverting to what most feared before the start of the season; the game is over in the early innings and there is little to no reason to keep watching (or even begin watching in the first place.)

After being outscored 19-1 in the last 11+ innings, he has Kuhl sac bunt with 1 out and man on first. I know he's a pitcher, but why? Kuhl bunts into a force at second, so 2 outs man on 1st. Newman grounds out, inning over.
