Jared Jones was the Bucs second round draft choice in 2020. Possibly I missed something, but I don’t see his name listed on any of the Bucs 4 minor league teams.

Hartman or Hoffman had the TJ surgery. I wonder if Jones is injured. If so they lose another year of development.

Being a draftee out of high school I would assume the Bucs will start him out at the rookie league team in Bradenton of the Gulf Coast League.

I thought with the new minor league these is only 4 teams for each MLB team. I figured rookie league is gone.

I thought with the new minor league there are only 4 teams for each MLB team. I figured the rookie league is gone.

According to Wikipedia, the Bucs will have a team, the GCL Pirates, and they will be located in Bradenton as usual. Also, according to PBN he will go to the GCL in 2021

Thank you Possum for the update I did not think there was going to be a Rookie League any longer.
