6 more losses and they can tie their preseason record of 3-18.

And Polanco will have to wait another day to try to break the coveted .070 barrier.

It is amazing to me with all of Sheltons lineup shuffling that he has never inserted one of the teams best hitters into the lineup. I’m talking about Brault. Why isn’t he hitting. Why isn’t he ever a DH?

He is far superior to the anemic banjo hitters consistently put in the lineup

I've been thinking that too. I'd DH Brault.

I guess in his case, they already know what they got?

finally get a chance to follow a game, and I see that Evans out for the year. Saw the video. Wouldn't you know, about the only guy who was hitting, a guy who I saw a lot of, "didn't know about this guy" kind of comments, a bright spot of some sort for a team without any sort of light...and he's done for the year.

Hartlieb another of those guys that we keep getting told, "has incredible stuff". Back to back K's so far, and a 1-2-3.

We've been reduced to cheering for 1-2-3 innings.

But, it's something to build on right? I mean, you never know. It's like how when a team "turns it around" there's always a specific moment that's pointed to as the moment when it all went good...or fell apart.

Maybe this is the moment it starts going good. Maybe we just witnessed the franchise turn around from a low point. Geoff Hartlieb will lead us to the promised land.

McKenry is becoming unbearable at a Blockesque level. I'm really tired of how many new slang terms he and Brown can invent. And someone on the production team needs to inform him that it isn't necessary to say "Brownie" before or after most comments.
