I've posted frequently on here about this fact, and other things that have transpired since the Bucs won their last WS. Off the top of my head, I think there are seven teams not to win a WS in that time span:

Mariners, Expos/Nats, Rays, Rangers, Brewers, Padres, and Pirates. The Rays, Rangers, Brewers, and Padres have all been to and lost the World Series since 1979.
