Interesting, no Stallings for game 1.....does this mean he's only playing in one game this series? He's doing the night game, then the day game?

Who knows, but remember they are 7 inning affairs.

Maybe Shelton wants Stallings to catch Kranick again after the rookie's successful debut with Stallings. But if that's the reason, then why not start Kranick in game 1 so Stallings could get more rest before catching tomorrow? Also, I'd rather see Kranick in game 1 so he doesn't have all day to think about his 2nd MLB start and get nervous. At this rate Perez will probably catch Sunday as well. Trying to assign logic to Shelton's decisions is not an easy task.

I was thinking same thing, but hey, we're almost to the ASG break....Pirates fans, and I'm guessing Orioles/D-Backs/Rangers fans need that break too

There would have to be a tidal wave of them backing out for him to get asked
