guy has had a very solid career in the minors, and very very good year last year 16-5 2.94 ERA 1.09 WHIP last year between Altoona and Indy.

after 162+ minor league innings, he had 4 big league outings. Two very bad and two mediocre but servicable.

He'll be 26 all year, and little seasoning back in AAA this year, and when injury strikes, he might be a very good option.

he may not really be a prospect any more but could be better than Alex McRae or Agrazal.

Marvel had a nice season at Indy in 2019, but he was not very impressive when he pitched for the Bucs late in the season. If he is healthy J.T. Brubaker may get the call to Pittsburgh before Marvel when a starting pitcher is needed this season.

I think you are right FJ, if I remember correctly, Marvel is not on 40 man any more so someone has to be removed before he can come back.

Marvel had a tough outing today. 2/3 of an inning 3 hits, 3 walks and 6 runs. I am going to assume he will start the season at Indy, and hopefully he can return to have the success he had there last season.
