Now THIS is how you conduct a draft. Cherington is sitting pretty today with this fearsome foursome. I can only assume the financials have been generally worked out, or else Cherington wouldn't have risked drafting them -- particularly White and Chandler, who have strong college commitments (Penn State and Clemson, respectively).

GM Ben gets a Stargell Star for how the draft is working out so far.

I agree he should get a Stargell star or two for this draft. At times he has been criticized for not signing a free agent or whomever, but since was hired in November 2019 I believe he is the right person to return the Bucs to a winning franchise.

A friend from my church is a Red Sox scout and he told me today that Chandler isn't going to Clemson to be a back up QB, so his signing looks good.
