Looks like Bucs got him from the Mexican league as a young player. He played at Greensboro all of 2019 and hit 280. I don't know how he rates as a prospect.

Parents prospects says that he has shown good speed and good defense in center but showed a lack of plate patience and pitch selectiveness. He's eligible for the rule 5 draft this year so I imagine that's why he's AAA - to see if they want to add him or risk losing him

Matt Fraizer hit his 17th homer tonight for Greensboro. He is having a very nice season, and could be a player who will soon be promoted to Altoona.

Brault with four perfect innings tonight with 6 strikeouts. Appears he is about ready to return to Pittsburgh.

Just looked at the Altoona box score and Bae is playing centerfield tonight. With all the middle infielders the Pirates have, I guess they are seeing if Bae can play the outfield as well as second base.

Nick Gonzales with three hits today that included 2 homers and 5 rbi. It seems he is fully recovered from his finger fracture. If I remember correctly he was drafted by Ben Cherington and the current FO, for some who think Ben is doing a subpar job since he joined the Pirates in November 2019. We may lose 100 games this season, but there is light at the end of the tunnel.

In his last 19 games before today he was hitting .329 (25 for 76). He's red hot.
