I like Bob Walk doing analysis on Peacock. He takes the job seriously and is very good. But when teamed with Greg Brown, it's the annoying laugh-o-rama broadcast.

Seems like the Giants score on every hit they get.

The Pirates on the other hand………you know the answer

The Pirates offense looks to be unfixable. Whatever can turn it around hasn’t been employed or even thought of to this point. This has become ridiculous. There isn’t anyone who’s worth a damn right now.

I think Shelington is incapable of fixing it because they don't know what they're doing. They seem heavily invested in analytics, sabermetrics, trends, etc. They need fewer computer geeks and more old fashioned baseball men. They think a pitch framing, non-hitting catcher is better than a legitimate hitter. They think resting players is more important than using their best lineup. Last year they thought the slow, power hitting Vogelbach belonged at leadoff because he could draw walks (and then clog up the bases). It seems they're always trying to be the smartest ones in the room by thinking outside the box. And it consistently results in failure. Their thought process is all wrong.

But guys like fixing things.  Maybe we just don’t have the right guys to fix these things.  But since you asked, two moves that I think could help would be moving Davis from RF to behind the plate for the remainder of the year, and bringing up Endy to play either at 1B or in RF.
