Williams' family was well represented at the game. Great that he got into the game late and then made that dazzling tag at 2nd and gaining a well deserved walk off of Hader after fouling off a boatload of pitches.
Also convenient for the family that the Pirates were playing the Padres and that Williams grew up in the area.
Not quite the same for Triolo's parents who had flown to Louisville to see him play for Indianapolis and then had to quickly rent a car and drive most of the night to see him in his major league debut in Pittsburgh.
Regardless, seeing one of your children, your brother, your sister, or even your 4th cousin making their debut in a major league sport must be a great feeling.
