I think we need to hold onto Brubaker. He has impressed as a guy who can be an effective starter based on his small sample size.

When a team goes 19-41, there are very few untouchables

If anything, we need to add a veteran to the starting rotation, one that actually helps and could be a mentor to all these young guys. An AJB type. TBH, the return for any of these starters is miniscule. Musgrove has been capable of pitching well, but is inconsistent as hell. Brault showed something at the end. Did the light turn on and can it continue? Kuhl is capable but inconsistent. Keller needs experience. Ponce has a small sample size and same with Brubaker. I wouldn't trade any, but I still would add.

Bobby Cox, who managed Atlanta during their turn-around years ago, said it takes seven years to rebuild a club. I suspect anyone on here looking for major improvement next year is in for disappointment.

The can has been snapped, the holder places the can, the kick is up and it is good. The can has been kicked down the road 7 years.
