Only thing I do not like is missing Polanco. But Frasier is on fire so I guess you keep him in there for now.

Good start for Holmes 3 pitches in gives up a homerun to Cutch and another run after with 2 men on still. He looks terrible so far in what was a terrible stupid dumb decision to begin with. This is exactly what you didn’t want to have happen.

Are we throwing this game, or what? Who's the long relief option?

Now we're looking at fucking up the bullpen for the rest of the series.

need to hope Holmes gets on track. Can't turn this into a game where the starters get an extra days rest but the bullpen gets crushed.

Exactly if the entire point of Holmes coming up was to rest the bullpen and he can’t barely get out of the 1st inning then it totally defeats the purpose of this dumb idea in the first place. This is exactly what you feared with Holmes making this start was him giving up runs early on and this becoming a disaster.

Well, at least I don't have to stay up late tonight.

Well. The Holmes experiment turned into a disaster. If the object was to give pitchers a rest; then why bring in Sadler after he got lit up last night. He gives up a hit and now it’s 7-1.

No raising of the Jolly Roger tonight. Instead Hurdle raised a white flag in the first inning. And that is being said from a Hurdle supporter

This is beyond frustrating what has happened tonight and how it could have all been avoided had Clint just kept things the way they were. This has turned out to be a complete and utter disaster and the Pirates are going to lose ground in the standings to the Braves as well who won tonight.

The only way the Pirates make up for this disaster tonight which is on Hurdle is to win the next 2 games of this series and win 3 of 4. This loss tonight will probably be forgotten about by some if they can find a way to do just that.
