1. Adam Frazier (L) 2B

2. Melky Cabrera (S) RF

3. Colin Moran (L) LF

4. Josh Bell (S) 1B

5. Francisco Cervelli (R) C

6. Jung Ho Kang (R) 3B

7. Jason Martin (L) CF

8. Cole Tucker (S) SS

9. Jordan Lyles (R) P

Not crazy about Moran in LF but the guy has just surprised the daylights out of us so far this season.  Hey, why Melky in 2 hole and Cervelli in 5 hole and Tucker in 8 hole.  I would put Tucker #2, Melky #5 and Cervelli at #8.

I'm less than thrilled with Kang hitting 6th. On the bright side, our #5-6 hitters are batting .302.....if you add their BA's (.162 and .140) together. ;)

And in their last 93 AB's combined, they have 36 K's...ouch

Already trailing in the top of the 1st. :( I hope the HP ump tonight is better than Gerry Davis last night. Davis was brutal. Pitches substantially within the strike zone were sometimes called balls and some substantially out of the strike zone were called strikes. The borderline pitches were never called the same way twice. He seemed to have no clue and was just guessing.

Darn! Our .162 hitting #5 batter whiffed with 2 runners aboard. If only he could have kept the inning alive for our .140 hitting #6 batter. ::)

Lyles' career has been marked by inconsistency. He's been good so far this season so I guess he was due for a clunker.

AZ's catcher Caleb Joseph was the Orioles' backup catcher in 2016 and became the first player in MLB history to go an entire season with over 100 ABs and have 0 RBIs. Not to be confused with the Orioles Chris Davis who set the MLB record for most ABs without a hit (54). Go Orioles! :D

Sobering. Just outclassed.

Kang and Bell are bright spots. I expected the offense to struggle until some guys get healthy. But not this badly.

giving up 11 runs is bad but I don't count runs that Brault surrenders. He is pretty much a AAA pitcher.

But Arizona is a team we need to beat if to have a decent record.

Attendance of 9450 is not good either. Not a lot of faith among fans for this team.
