On the Cole Return, it really comes down to- offering more than any other team is offering.



I don't know what other teams were in on the Clevenger bidding, or the Cole bidding at the time.



The Indians could have pulled Clevenger from the table and kept him. Cole was going somewhere. Anywhere. Made trading Cutch easier to accept.
