It's Saturday and SHOOT ME NOW

This season is in a downward spiral. It is hard to watch the Bucs lose night after night. The Reds are going to catch them very soon, and we will be in last place in the Central. Right now there are about only half the teams in Major League Baseball with winning records. You can talk about trades being made, but in most cases only teams in contention will want to add depth. I think it will be very tough to make trades this season.

Saw something that Pittsburgh is officially open for business as far as trading five particular names. Two of them get decent returns. I wouldn't trade one of the five mentioned.

I saw the same five listed in a story a couple of hours ago. Said it came from an American League executive.

To be honest, at this stage, I would consider signing Luke Heimlich as an undrafted FA. I saw KC might be kicking the tires on that.

Yep. Pretty stupid that this guy is still unsigned. He’s got legit stuff as a lefty and wouldn’t be too far off from helping a big league club
